Every board is built for a specific music culture, under one shared editorial process. Here is what goes into a weekly fifty.
The short version
These are editorial rankings of recordings attracting attention in a market during a given week. They are not official streaming totals, and no platform has endorsed the order.
The language leads.
Editors confirm a recording’s primary lyrical language, identity, artist credits, and availability. Film and independent releases are equally eligible. Distinct language versions are separate recordings; duplicate uploads of the same recording are consolidated.
Listen widely. Check carefully.
Reviewers consider public platform charts, observable audience reach, recent momentum, and the breadth of credible signals. Sources and an editorial reason are recorded for every ranked song. Numbers from different services are not added together as though they measure the same thing.
Fifty places, reviewed.
Editors make the final ranking. A board is published only with 50 distinct, checked recordings at ranks 1–50. The site shows movement against the previous published chart; a song absent from that chart is marked NEW.
Every edition stays.
Published weekly snapshots remain available in the archive. Corrections are made transparently in version history. As reliable, language-specific consumption feeds become available, any measured index will be introduced with a separately published method.

The pilot opens with Punjabi, Bhojpuri, and Haryanvi. New boards join when there are enough releases, credible sources, and reviewers to sustain a meaningful Top 50.
